Todd Leslie

Todd Leslie MPT, CSCS, graduated from Purdue University in 1996 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology. He then spent three years working as a personal trainer and competitive bodybuilder. He went on to graduate from Loma Linda University in 2002 with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. He completed his specialist Certification in Strength and Conditioning from the National Strength & Conditioning Association in 2003. His physical therapy career began in 2002 at La Mesa Rehab, where he became the Director of Physical Therapy. He decided to expand his expertise and opened In-Motion PT in 2009. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Susie Carvalho

Physical Therapy Assistant

She obtained her degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Gate Community College in 2008 and began working as a PTA since 2009. She believes that giving one-on-one care to patients is a key factor in patient’s successful recuperation. Susie provides a professional and warm family like environment, which makes patients, feel comfortable and special. It is her professional, compassionate, and at the same time fun attitude, that makes her different from other therapists.

During her time off, Susie enjoys dancing and traveling. She likes to meet new people and experience other cultures.

Maria Sanchez

Office Manager/Front Office Coordinator

Maria obtained a Bachelors Degree in Health Care Administration and has been in the medical field for over Twenty years. She strongly believes that taking an extra step to help others, and providing excellent customer service, are keys to a successful practice.

She considers herself fortunate because during her career, she has had the opportunity to perform many duties and fulfill various positions. Although she loves the administration part of the business, she admits the highlight of her day is the communication and interaction she experiences with patients.

One of her future goals is to continue to educate and learn how to successfully utilize her skills to overcome rising Health Care Industry challenges.

In her spare time she enjoys taking long walks and spending time with family. One of her passions is cooking and really enjoys inviting family and friends for home prepared meals.

If she were to describe herself, she would say that she is an honest, loving, hard working professional individual, who is highly energetic, self motivated and enjoys challenge.
